I hope you're still reading my blog and finding a few answers. I have written a few posts about mother stuff and guilt and having to keep sweeping stuff under the carpet ... You can only live your truth if you live with your hands open to the sky. Nothing is defined until we assign our own meaning to it and that is something only you can do. I hope this finds you in a better space one year on - I know I have come full circle since back then by returning to simplicity in life and letting go of stuff a lot easier ...

The Miacup is really really comfy!! They have EXCELLENT customer service and really seem to care about the environment. By the way it's made of medical grade silicon which is completely different from the stuff in breast implants. It's safe plus there's never been a documented case of TSS resulting from use of a cup! If you get a cup that fits you properly you will not regret it!! I can personally vouch for the Miacup, but there are many many other brands that can work for you. There is a learning curve so you have to be patient in order to get right. Look at menstrual cup blogs; if you just Google it you should find good ones out there. Also look for the livejournal one! It really good and all of your questions will prolly be answered!

Thank you, Erna, for your words of gratitude. I will respond with gratitude in return to you, for your openness and for your honesty ... two things of great value in my current life. I wish you clarity in your connection to your journey and joy and wonder in the discoveries therein.

A few weeks ago I walked into a shop to buy some Fairtrade chocolate, and a book caught my eye. I read the back, and I immediately HAD to get it. It spoke to me in a way that no other book ever has. For such a long time I was so stuck with my life. It wasn't going anywhere and I didn't know what I wanted to do in the future. I went from being engaged to single in 3 days, so that didn't help either. I remember thinkin: "What now?". My prayers got answered in the form of your book. So thank you for helping me realise that life is a journey. Oh, I also saw that my book is signed! Lucky day!

Loved your comments, I too am appreciative of Martins work. Bought a painting in 1994/5. ... always felt like an aspiring artist myself, but, alas, didn't get past the private art pad, which I keep tucked away. I now gaze on one of his works ( The Flutist) with all its vibrancy... when I am comotozed by the grey sky and short winter day of Wales. However, not to be disloyal, I am proud of this small insignificant country of proud and colourful, artistic people, and beautiful scenery....and poignant history.
